The powerful arm that saves lives.
The Right Arm in the Cath Lab
In the Cath Lab, complications during patient treatment can sometimes require immediate resuscitation. However, the sterile environment and limited staff can make manual chest compressions challenging. That's why a mechanical chest compression device is essential.
The corpuls cpr sets a new standard for the next generation of automated chest compression devices, designed to maximise patient outcomes in cardiac arrest emergencies.
Additionally, protecting healthcare staff is now more crucial than ever. The corpuls cpr arm enables hospital personnel to step back from the patient, allowing them to control chest compressions from a safe distance—all while delivering uninterrupted, automatic therapy.
Certain diagnostic procedures, like X-rays or CT scans, sometimes need to be performed during ongoing resuscitation. The radiation exposure involved in these procedures poses a significant risk to medical staff. With the corpuls cpr, these procedures can be conducted with full compliance to occupational safety standards, ensuring optimal protection for healthcare providers.
The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) specifically recommends using mechanical chest compression devices, such as the corpuls cpr, during angiography under resuscitation.

In the cardiac catheter lab, the artefact-free view on the coronary vessels is of decisive importance.
The corpuls cpr compression pad only gives a minimal shadow, otherwise there is an unimpeded view on the coronary vessels.
Key Design Advantages for In-Hospital Treatment
- Quick setup and deployment: ready in seconds and can remain on standby for use during complex cardiac procedures.
- Full access to the patient’s thorax with a rotating arm design, allowing seamless operation during procedures.
- Adjustable compression depth and frequency for customised therapy during resuscitation.
- Versatile application with no limitations based on patient weight or thorax size—suitable for use on children and maternal cases.
- The Quad Board is specially designed for in-hospital use, featuring a low-profile, comfortable surface that can be deployed instantly.
- Radiolucent carbon fibre compression boards ensure compatibility with radiology equipment for uninterrupted imaging. The non-radiolucent parts of the corpuls CPR arm are designed as small as possible in size, enabling optimal positioning for clear imaging of the heart and blood vessels.
- No consumables required: durable compression pads are available in two sizes and can be disinfected with standard agents, saving on ongoing costs.
Real imaging from the Cath Lab!
On table cardiac arrest, with corpuls cpr mechanical compressions and simultaneous PCI.
An excellent outcome - flow was restored and SBP recorded at 100mmHg
The following patient had an inferior STEMI & cardiogenic shock, and suffered a cardiac arrest during a diagnostic angiogram.
There was severe triple vessel disease and an ostially occluded RCA.
Mechanical compressions were performed using corpuls cpr, whilst the RCA was wired (Image 2) and flow restored (Image 3).

The battery can be exchanged quick and easy during therapy. The operation parameters are retained for 30 seconds.
Battery charging time via magnetic plug (no therapy): approx. 105 min: 0–80% then approx. 30 min: 80-100%
Revolutionary Design
The rotating arm of the corpuls cpr provides unrestricted access to the patient's thorax, ensuring seamless chest compressions during procedures. Mounted to one side, the arm’s swivel function allows precise positioning for uninterrupted compressions.
With two flexible joints and an adjustable height, the corpuls cpr easily adapts to each patient’s unique anatomy, guaranteeing optimal pressure point placement. Compression depth and mode are fully adjustable, allowing a rapid switch from manual to automated chest compressions in just seconds.
An intuitive user interface with a start/stop button, alarm, and four soft-keys simplifies operation. A red flashing alarm alerts the team if the arm is not correctly positioned, ensuring precise, effective compressions every time.
